This one was near and dear to me since it was the wedding of one of my friends from high school! At the time of the wedding, Kate and Matt were both working in the events industry — Kate working at an event production company and Matt at a winery in the Napa Valley. Needless to say they knew what they were doing when it came to a wedding! They hired out help on florals, event coordination, catering and a few other key vendors (moi), but Kate did most of the event decor herself, by purchasing bits and pieces on Etsy and other online sellers. The whole event was filled with joy and personality, from family photos displayed around the venue to a welcome board displaying a poem written by an artist Kate worked with. It was such a beautiful day to be a part of.
